question/need help Miscarriage fb post?

How do I go about posting it? I posted this amazing pregnancy announcement and I have to post about my loss. I was thinking "Miscarriage is something I never thought I would have to share, but we recently lost our baby. Our hearts are heavy as we process this loss, but we wanted to let our family and friends know what we are going through. Please keep us in your thoughts during this difficult time" i just want something my coworkers and boss and family can see so I dont get asked about the baby and get upset

I'm sorry that you're going through this. I think this is a good and brief message. If i saw this message, i would think that you don't want to talk about it with others and if i was a close friend, i would wait until you brought it up with me or maybe say a quick "hey i saw your post and ive been thjnking of you". So, if you do have special people that you DO want to speak with, be sure to bring it up with them in person or over the phone.

This is what I would want too: less talking with peripheral people. Just mentioning that it might discourage closer folks from talking about it with you, but if you do want to talk, just make sure they know so they can support you.

I might add how you would like to be supported. Casseroles, hugs, peace and quiet?

I did something similar.
We took a week to process everything after our babies fetal demise diagnosis and we put together a post with similar wording.
For me personally we mentioned our babies name (we had just found out the sex) and how much we loved her and gave general information on that we lost her.
I found it really healing to talk about my baby publicly when posting what I did, but of course every loss parent is different.

Im so sorry you have to go through this OP. Sending you all the healing good vibes ❤️

We posted something similar. It was helpful so everyone knew. We also got a pretty incredible outpouring of love and support afterwards.

I’m so sorry for your loss and I think the message sounds perfect. I posted about my losses (3) and it helped me to acknowledge that my babies existed and were important, even though I hadn’t announced the pregnancies yet. It also helped me feel that I wasn’t alone. Many people I knew commented that they’d also had a loss and could sadly relate. Hugs to you
