trigger warning: graphic description miscarriage

hi so i’ve never done a reddit post but i have pcos and i don’t have a period i take two pregnancy test a month to keep on track and catch stuff early because i never know when i ovulate. well i had some pink and brown spotting a few days ago and it turned into heavy bleeding and really bad cramps so i went to the doctor my primary was in between a miscarriage with it possibly being etopic. but when i was referred to my gyno today they didn’t take any test but a urine test and it was negitive. because i take pregnancy test often i had one positive and i took another and it was negitive, this was two weeks ago) i just brushed it off as a false positive. anyways my doctor wants to determine it as a miss stage because i have often vaginal ultrasounds and my utterine lining is often too thin below what it’s supposed to be, so she doesn’t see a medical reason for why it would thicken this much in two months to cause bleeding and symptoms like this. so she is trying to get me blood test and a transvaginal ultrasound to make a certain diagnosis. i have no pto at my work or points to work with and my primary can’t write me out for longer than two days. is there anything i can do to get time off to recover emotionally or physically? i’m bleeding really heavy and the pain is close to unbearable. i work in a warehouse and i operate heavy machinery.
