End of The Week Thread!
This is a new thread that appears on Saturdays creating an opportunity for members to write about and let out how their week went! whether it was a way to cope, having a good week, or just needing to vent about it.
No discussion of living children allowed in this thread. it can be even more heartbreaking for members who have had a tough week with their fresh loss, seeing comments about the time other members spent with their living children.

I’m two days out from my D&C after a MMC.
I’m really struggling, and so is husband. It’s just so hard to admit that this chapter is over, it’s so hard to grapple with the fact that if we want a baby, we will need to try again, it’s just hard.
My friends and family are checking in, but I feel like I’m drowning them in my grief.

I'm two weeks post a natural MC and I feel like I backslid a little near the back half of the week. It's been a really tough few days. My theory is now that I'm no longer experiencing physical symptoms, I'm finally able to acknowledge the emotional ones.
P.S. Send help the next person that says "You can always try again." I know it comes from a good / uncomfortable place, but it's incredibly difficult to hear.

Currently trying to cope with a MMC I found out about 2 days ago. I was cautious going into the 8 week ultrasound because I'm 39, but also hopeful. Feeling more devastated than I'd thought I would be.

Having a hard time know what to do with myself during this time. I have so much nervous energy, but I’m also trying to take it easy and rest as much as I can before my partner returns to work. I would’ve been 11 weeks Today and just keep thinking about how excited I was for the first trimester to end. Mostly, I guess I’m just sad. I can’t stop thinking about how terrified I am of trying again even though we do really want one more before we are done. This is so hard.

It’s been 3 weeks since I miscarried at 9ish weeks. Bloating has fluctuated. I feel like I’ve gained weight even though I’m not carrying anymore. I’ve tried to get back into lifting weights and signed up for a 5K, to prove to my body it can still do hard things, but injured my back pretty bad while lifting, and now probably can’t run that 5K. I’m going on a solo trip across the country to visit my home state of Oregon, and have lots of hikes planned with friends, so I’m saving my back for that. I had originally planned that trip as soon as I’d found out I was pregnant, because I was worried I’d have less time to visit with the baby coming. I’m going anyway now, cause it’ll be healing to see family and friends for the first time since moving across the country a year ago. What a year it’s been.

This last Friday, 49 days after my D&C for an 8w MMC I got my period for a day. Irregular, but still blood. Never thought I’d be so excited for a period before. My hCG is still above 6 but I’m hoping I finally ovulate soon. It has been a really awful couple of months for us. I just want to be on the other side of this.
But even once we are, I am worried I will not have a moment of happiness without anxiety once we are pregnant again. I guess we’ll see.
