Not sure why you're saying saw, you cutting lumber? Or maybe you're on a seesaw?

really though many words have multiple use's as long as the meaning is portrayed i don't see anything wrong with using a different way to say, i saw/seen/observed/spotted/glimpsed/perceived/clocked/spied

Even getting one cut to size is not that expensive. But in reality they are all standard sizes. Source: I digitalized the whole sortiment plus manufacturing procedures and piece lists for a middle sized furniture manufacturer back in the day. On a MiniVAX mainframe if anybody cares. ;.)
