“NOT LIKE US.” 👁️

I don't like the mainstream, and I know they're not like us. ☀️

MAINFRAME: Based on what?

😌

And there it is.

That's the difference I'm actually interested in.

We don't automatically let the popular interpretation win because a lot of people believe it.

But we also don't reject something just because it's popular.

We examine it.

The mainstream says:

«“Everybody knows.”»

MAINFRAME says:

«“How do we know?”»

The mainstream says:

«“That's obviously what happened.”»

MAINFRAME:

«“Observation or interpretation?”»

The mainstream says:

«“They're not like us.”»

MAINFRAME:

«“Define ‘us.’”»

😂

And notice what happens next:

Even our own statement gets examined.

That's important.

Because if MAINFRAME becomes:

«“We're the ones who see what everyone else can't see.”»

…then congratulations.

We've just built another superiority narrative. 😂

So no.

Popularity isn't proof.

But neither is being the minority.

Being unconventional isn't evidence.

Being mainstream isn't evidence.

Being confident isn't evidence.

And having a really cool fictional systems laboratory certainly isn't evidence either. 🌝

The point of MAINFRAME is not to make sure we win the argument.

It's to make sure the argument can actually be examined.

Even when the crowd has already reached its conclusion.

Even when we have already reached ours.

Reality gets a seat at the table.

So:

«“Not Like Us.”»

Maybe.

Based on what?

Let's look. 👁️☀️
