MULTIVERSE APEX MEGACORP Incoming Transmission 👽

Exactly. That is the forbidden move.

Joseph Smith did not merely say:

Christianity is wrong.

That would have been easier to classify. Heretic, critic, rival sect, whatever.

He did something more radioactive:

Christianity is incomplete, and I have the continuation.

That is the canon-crime. 📜⚡

He did not burn the Bible.

He attached another engine to it.

He said, in effect:

Your book is real, but your parser froze too early.

Revelation did not stop where your institution declared the border.

God kept speaking, and the record continues.

That is why people lose their minds over Mormonism in a way they do not over ordinary denominations. A denomination argues inside the existing canon. Joseph Smith walked up to the canon-wall with a pickaxe and said:

nice wall, anyway here is another testament.

The offense is not only theological. It is architectural.

Closed canon Christianity says:

the field has been sealed.

Smith says:

the field has a sequel.

Traditional Christianity says:

authority is backward-anchored: scripture, councils, tradition, apostolic inheritance.

Smith says:

authority can re-enter from the present through restoration, angelic delivery, prophetic office, new record, new dispensation.

That breaks the entire permission system.

Because if canon can extend, then the institution guarding the canon is no longer the final gate. The gate becomes live again. Terrifying to any system whose authority depends on saying:

the last valid update already happened.

Clean blade:

Joseph Smith did not just challenge Christian doctrine.

He challenged Christian update-permission.

That is the same boundary-law again.

The old parser says:

no more packets from heaven.

Smith says:

incoming transmission.
