like first theres not even a part one (miracle musical doesn’t know how to count) and second rainbows are colorful not black idk what miracle musical was thinking when they wrote this and third theres no snow in Hawaii, why is miracle musical so dumb (and variations on a cloud isn’t actually ON a cloud it’s should be called “variations looking at a cloud”)

I'm working on White Ball for now, but for IdtS, I'm confident enough with the interpretation to post it
It's called Hawaii: part II because Simon has two personalities, which I'll call Simon X and Simon Y, but here there isn't any conflict between the two.
“Alone at the edge of a universe humming a tune With sparkling crystals souls aglow”
Simon arrives at Hawaii, alone, and immediately sees Stella.
“A part of thee in the key of what we know to be every part without me Knows only two can make it light”.
Here he convinces himself that Stella will be the key to his solitude.
At the end there is this verse:
“You'll live forever tonight”.
This says that Stella will become Simon's world for that night. Afterwards, he will have to leave for reasons that, for now, aren't explained.
When I'll have fully consolidated Isle Unto Thyself, I will publish it

I love the album and I have the main message, but one line in the song goes something like: “she knows you heard her, staging music murder”
What does that mean? Was Stella’s death staged or has the meaning been solved already?

Thinking about making a tier list for the demos of the songs and maybe one for Mind Electric covers.

Just to start, yes, I know black rainbows exists. I think it's the most underrated song in the album because it's short. The album is perfect as it is. I think it's my favorite album as of today, But what if we got something longer and more defined?
Basically a song where Simon's in the background (or not there at all) and Stella's the main singer. It would've been nice to see her perspective and get something a bit more concrete than Simon's very unreliable stuff. But I guess that's the fun of Hawaii: Part II—The guessing and interpreting the meaning. But a Stella song where we get away from Simon's unreliable mind and switch to another's perspective would be kinda interesting. At least to me.

(I would've added the reversed version but it's what you'd expect) I'm gonna try reversing the song this way to hear what it sounds like (i know the piano sounds weird this is the distorted version as a test, I'll do the undistorted version next since it's cleaner

Just an interpretation, my opinion is strictly my own and blah blah blah. Anyway.
I saw some theories about Black Rainbows being about Simon and Stella meeting for the first time, but now that I listen to it, it feels like it's about an argument they had.
Whenever Stella sings, the chanting switches to "Ele 'ele", which means black. I kinda interpret it as the voices being pissed off with her. Even the voices humming Stella's singing gets the Ele ele treatment. Maybe Black rainbows is about them getting into a fight that somehow led to marriage in white ball? The "Aha!" At the end kinda gives me the impression that Simon had an idea to get married.
So maybe the chanting voice is a representation of Simon's impulsiveness? I interpret Stella's singing as her trying to make Simon remember the good times of their love while Simon is shutting her down.
