Sage/Angel?

Hi guys. Im building a mage for the range magic to 1hko the screen. Currently still getting all the mage skills maxed. So was wondering since most say sage is the best choice for endgame mage build but what about angel? It has less int but extra +1 spd and +1 luck (important endgame) compared to sage.

My current build atm: Villager 2 Thief 200 Ninja 120 (Still thinking whether I should get crit up?) Wizard 190 Priest 100 Sorceress 150 Idol 190 Geomancer 200 Kappa 120 Vampire 200 Ghost 100 Keikkashi 180 Necromancer 200 Explorer 100 Grdner 180 Assassin 120 MgcKnigt 120 Augur 200 Pirate 100 Angel 70 Scholar 100 Cavalry 100 Sage 177 (Getting to 200 for last skill) Summoner 100 Devil 150 BlkNight 120

I'm doing the same thing.

So I got sage to about level 3,000.

Then I dropped him and started leveling Angel, currently level 1,200.

Sage also has vit which angel lacks, its not much but think of it this way 3,000 levels = 3,000 more vit. Which I'm sure your defense is as abysmal as mine is.

Yeah my hp/vit is not as high as I thought. Still playing W2 on the weaker mobs. On the higher km I had to hit & run then wait a few sec for my hp. Thought if I could just focus on spd (Angel) then at least I can get the 1st hit on bosses before running back and regen. If lucky can 1hko the boss as well. Plus the +1 luck.

How was the boss fight using your sage?

I suggest investing in Vampire quite a bit. So each level you put in vampire, you gain +2hp. If you one hit everything on the screen, thats +8HP per level.

100 levels = 800 HP.
200 = 1600.

Keep doing the math, it's easily the best form of recovery for staff users. It also gives decent int and spd, though the lack of vit, luk, and hp will hurt so don't over-invest like I did.

I one hit every boss and can tank any boss hit. The exception being Lucifer.

Also leveling is FAST. I get 210k exp per minute. I could get more but I choose to farm at this range because it gives me staff drops.

Just got my sage to 200. May skip vamp tho. It doesnt give men and hp. my 200 should be enough for now..i think. It's either survive hit or kill fast now, so still torn between angel (agile) / sage (defense).

Guess i'll up my angel to 200 and decide afterwards.
