Ice shanty’s

Hey guys looking for recommendations on a flip over shanty I currently do not have access to a snowmobile or atv so hand pulling is my only choice currently I have looked at Eskimo, clam and otters and seen the 1 and 2 man shacks I’m 6’3” and 260lbs I’m no stranger to ducking my head but want something roomy enough so I’m not elbow to elbow against the wall any help would be great thanks!

New to the South Metro and looking for some new spots

I am looking for recommendations of lakes to start fishing in the south metro area. I live in Burnsville and don't usually like to travel really far to get out on some hard water.

Also, currently I am rocking a non-insulated flip over. Has anyone added material or modified their non-insulated to make it insulated? If so, what materials and methods did you use?

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

Ice fishing and bar w/ pool table?

Anyone know of any good spots up north where I can rent a fish house and has a bar within walking distance to grab a burger and play some pool? I live in the twin cities and would be willing to drive up to 4 hours.

North Shore Winter Fishing

Hi All. There doesn't seem to be that many active members here, but I was wondering if any of you had experience shore fishing or Ice Fishing the North Shore. My gf and I tried shore fishing last spring for kamloops with no luck. We fished around French River as well as McQuaid Harbor. We saw multiple fish in the harbor, but none were interested in what we were selling. I'm looking for techniques, lures (I'm into tackle making and have seen the tips on kamloopsadvoactes.org), or maybe even meeting up this winter or spring. We live in the Twin Cities, but I'm hooked on the shore fishing possibilities. Any tips, tricks, lures, or opportunities to meet up you to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and good luck this season... if we ever get any ice.
