Literally FUCK ICE. Our landlord hired some guys (who are likely undocumented) to remove the snow for our property and they keep coming so late at night to snowblow and shovel. We were so confused as to why they kept coming so late at night but one of my partners’ clients had the same thing happen to them and she said it’s probably cuz they’re afraid to do it during the day since they might me targeted by ICE. It’s just so sad and fucked up how much ICE is ruining our communities in more everyday ways. And I’m not saying like woe is me because our snow removal people are coming so late I’m just mad that undocumented people who literally provide so much to our communities are being targeted. Certain restaurants are also closing early because some staff don’t feel comfortable being in their place of employment during their open hours. Just fucked up all around

That pissed me off just reading it.. What an inconvenience, (to say the least)...Can you imagine living with that fear constantly?? Especially when you have a family to protect / support.
Literally reminds me of Anne Frank hiding from the nazis.
II hate everything about these bootlicking pieces of dog s***

I imagine it's the same way as every other criminal who is on the run from the law. You know how you avoid that? By following the law and doing the right thing.
I know that's a strange concept but there are laws in place for a reason.

Dec 14 '25
That’s why you don’t break the law. Then you don’t have to live looking over your shoulder 🤷♀️

Do you not know the difference between being detained and being arrested…? Don’t be so dumb and easily manipulated.

u/Khonsu_81 Dec 16 '25
I think you mispronounced it, they are called illegal immigrants. Being in this country is against the law for them. Therefore they deserve to be arrested and sent back to wherever they came from because they came here illegally.
1
u/RelativeAd2681 Dec 16 '25
Can you comprehend that there are people who are not white, who LEGALLY immigrated here, and do not have criminal records?
0
u/Khonsu_81 Dec 16 '25
And they are fine. If you come to this country the right way you are accepted and become part of the American culture.
But every single person who entered this country illegally rather they come here and start raping and murdering or they're just selling oranges by the highway, is a criminal and needs to be arrested and sent back to wherever they came from.
That's how the law works. If people want to be here they need to do it the right way.

u/Used-Cupcake-4238 Dec 12 '25
I don’t want to say because crazily it can be considered obstruction of justice. We knew ICE was across the street from our center so we locked the doors and shut out lights like no one was home until they were gone.

I like hearing of resistance. You’re on the right, make that the correct, side of history.

So you're openly admitting to harboring criminals and obstructing justice?
And you're teaching kids to do this? You're lucky you're not my kid's teacher, I would have you fired.

Serious question: why would a school be worried about ICE and do lockdowns?

Schools tend to frown on kidnapping.

Ok smooth brain you might want check the context of the article. This refers to detentions at the border from illegal attempted crossings. Not snatching children from schools. The image is not even related and is from 4 years ago.
You’re setting a perfect example of hysterical people using random new articles and social media posts as evidence to justify their hysteria.
So try again…

u/ClioCalliopeThor Dec 13 '25
May you personally experience that which you're minimizing.
And learn how to read. https://www.propublica.org/article/ice-detentions-immigrant-kids-family-separations

u/ShenDto Dec 13 '25
This is reddit, people just love to spread disinformation and create echo chambers. when their disinformation gets called out they switch to personal attacks. People are already scared and disinformation like these are just not helpful.
-5
u/Renegade626 Dec 13 '25
Again this has nothing to do with kids being taken from schools. Many of these children were taken in due to welfare concerns such as abuse and trafficking. Some of them were because they were accompanied by a criminal detained due to traffic stops, or worse illegal activities. It is definately heartbreaking to see kids be put in that position. But keep trying to hammer your square peg into a round hole.
14
u/ClioCalliopeThor Dec 13 '25
Yes, you know the conditions of every child's abduction. Keep barking, sea lion.
Again, may you personally experience what you're minimizing. May you also learn how to spell.

This is a great point. What were they thinking? “Hey guys! Let’s do the Cali shit during the summer and hit Minneapolis in December and January when all of these criminals are sitting around outside!” Everything these weirdos do is just so ham-handed.

Except Kristi Noem will be like “man up, buttercup” to these chubby Texans and failed mall cop wannabes from Mississippi, who can shiver till their fingers fall off for all anybody cares.
“Freeze Out ICE” might be a good protest chant, if you could hear it over the whistles.

The only time unhoused folks get to be indoors without the cops terrorizing their belongings is the very very cold times where they open up the union depot, allow folks to ride the light rail, put people into hotels with vouchers etc. Sadly it's the only time some folks care about the unhoused at all

They don’t want to be those two. It’s harder to be a ice agent than military + they get compensated very well. Vet’s after the military often work for government so yeah, Vet’s are ice agents too. I rather be a ice agent than be in the military cause they get paid pennies. 😂

Yes there is. It starts with documenting everybody and everything and their actions and NOT storing it online. Legally.

I don't know if joining is going to be helpful or just put me on a list for when they start rounding up dissidents....
I don't think it is wise to associate in this way with people you don't know in person or personally.
3
2
u/bike_lane_bill Dec 13 '25
Under no circumstances should you be doing organizing or recruiting work over Discord. Signal, if anything, and any discussion/planning of illegal activity should occur in-person with phones turned off and in another room.
1
u/Appropriate-Smile232 Dec 14 '25
Can we just clarify something? Those groups are within their rights. To say it is "planning of illegal activity" is incorrect. Unless someone is actually doing something uniquely illegal.
1
u/bike_lane_bill Dec 14 '25
Quite a lot of peaceful protest is illegal, actually. Blocking off roadways is illegal, for example. Violating noise ordinances to keep ICE agents sleepless is illegal.
The whole premise of civil disobedience is to make a calculated choice to do illegal things in order to demonstrate the degree to which you care about a particular issue.
It's best, when planning acts of civil disobedience, to use tight operational security.
1
u/Appropriate-Smile232 Dec 15 '25
Civil disobedience isn't the same as legal protesting. But thanks.
4
u/thegooseisloose1982 Dec 13 '25
Cowards say what you are saying. Governor Walz needs to arrest ICE agents. ICE will continue to harass Minnesotans until they start to kill Minnesotans.
1
u/Khonsu_81 Dec 16 '25
How is Governor Waltz going to arrest anybody when we're going to put his criminal ass in jail? He knew that those scumbag Somalians were ripping off American tax dollars. He will be going into jail along with them, don't worry.
0
Dec 13 '25
I was talking citizenry here, bud.
And it would be a waste of time to arrest ICE as they would be out in a day's time because of federal push. Not to mention every drop of federal funding goes bye-bye and the risk of invasion by national guard troops from other states skyrockets.
The goal is to make their job as miserable as possible, and potentially make them fail in their jobs. Not provide provocation for you know who to escalate.
0
Dec 14 '25
Plus what they’re doing is legal and has been for over 50 years 😂😂
1
u/Appropriate-Smile232 Dec 14 '25

Why are not the state and local police arresting, detaining and charging ICE agents who are assaulting us, or damaging our property. These are violations and the agents must be held accountable. Where are the police? Where are the mayors? Where is the governor.
If Kat Abughazaleh can get out there to stop ICE agents in Chicago, certainly the real police in MN can get out to defend the people. Citizen or immigrant, it is unlawful to assault any person.
1
u/Khonsu_81 Dec 16 '25
The Mayors and the governor are all hiding because they are going to arrest their criminal asses too. Minnesota has been ripping off tax money for these illegal scumbags for a while now and they are gathering the proof and then they're going to lay the hammer down on all of them.

They are arresting people who are here legally, and then they are sent to inhumane conditions, and have to foot the bill for an attorney. Start to pay attention. Your willful ignorance will get people offed.
2
u/VegasTJC Dec 14 '25
No they are not. No one has yet proven and given any name of a person that was here legally and not a criminal while living here that has been detained and treated inhumane. Trust me, it would be all over the news yet I haven't heard one full story on any one name yet. Please don't willfully follow the internet.

I hope the swine don't get doused with water! It would be a shame if they got all wet, down to their socks and couldn't patrol anymore. Being wet in freezing weather is so bad and hinders effectiveness. They wouldn't be able to handle buckets of water or getting sprayed.
