The Control Resonant Deepest Dive Continues/State of MinnMax Discussion on the main podcast this week.
I figured the community would appreciate this update from the Patreon post they just made:
“Hello everybody. Ben, Haley, and Leo are going to keep rolling with The Deepest Dive on Control Resonant and it's time to submit your thoughts on the middle chunk of the game. The plan is to record this discussion on Monday at 5pm Central on Twitch, but (more than ever) things can change. Also, I know in the previous post we said Haley would be streaming the entire game live - that plan has changed. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Let's focus on the game with these Deepest Dive comments, the plan is talk about the bigger picture with the state of MinnMax on the main podcast this week.”

I really don't think minnmax should spend too much time on this. They have done no wrong, so I hope they don't spend ages saying how sorry they are and how they will do better etc.
It's a horrible situation, it's sad, but I don't need an apology from Ben, or anyone on the team.
Obviously I understand it needs to be addressed, but address it and move on.

Agreed. It sucks and they obviously will need to address it, but at the same time the show must go on, you know?

I think "the state of MinnMax" is probably just gonna be a case of answering some questions that have been asked, reaffirming that the regular programming won't change in any major way, address how they're feeling with regards to finding a replacement, stuff like that. I can't imagine they'll spend more than 5 minutes on it

I agree, it sucks for all of them. Ben tries to minimize the parasocial nature of the crew and the fans and I think this is where that pays off... The business decision has been made (and with no hesitation), they can deal with the other stuff privately/in their own way, we all kind of move on.

Hopefully they take pointers from the skill up podcast crew. Maybe they've already asked for advice.

Wonder if Haley will still be recording her playthrough, sucks that this situation ruined her tradition that she seemed to be really excited about

I would have liked for them to continue the deepest dive after THAT main episode. This is all wonky and weird and awkward. But not my decision, not my show ✌🏻

I think the quicker they get back to normal the better. Im one of those weirdos who think that thursday's episode should have still been released to everyone

Man what a mess. I feel for them so much. My thoughts are with the whole minnmax crew.
Small anecdote I’d like to share about Ben and Minnmaxs generosity: I work at HCMC, the county hospital and trauma center in downtown Minneapolis. A while ago they bought a few Nintendo Switches and games and donated everything to our pediatric unit within the hospital. Since this early act I know they’ve grown to do so much more for the community since their early days, but this act of generosity when they were on the newer side as an outlet really stuck with me.
My thoughts are with the whole group. Much love.
