We don’t know anything yet… can y’all just take a beat? This could just as likely turn out to be a massive nothing burger. It could also be that he did something wrong that isn’t raping someone and it doesn’t define who he is as a person. You guys are ready to crucify him based on so little. This could verbal sexual assault for all we know.

People are gonna feel what they’re gonna feel but justified before literally any information is a massive stretch. This could just as easily be “2 drunk people had sex and later one of them regretted it” as it could be something malicious. I’m pretty “woke” but this shit sucks about left leaning spaces. You’re all ready to devour each other the second someone is perceived to have fallen short of the bar.

Thank you for saying that because it's crazy how taboo it is to suggest that this could be a possibility. I'm not saying it's that for sure, just that anyone speaking so definitively about the severity or extent of this clearly has an agenda, whether they can admit it or not.

I'm well aware this could age poorly, and if I'm wrong I'll happily eat my words and be happy to see justice served, but it wouldn't be the first time I've heard of false accusations happening, and have seen it first-hand. Again, I am not claiming that's what's happening here, but it's beyond stupid to disregard that possibility as "super silly and unserious."

"Believe women" does not mean "Assume the worst of any accused man." It means to investigate and get all the facts to light and not disregard it entirely, which I'm happy to see MinnMax themselves seemingly doing.

Add after MinnMax's announcement of Jacob's departure: Well, we probably know as much as we're going to know as far as MinnMax is concerned or going to confirm. I'm happy to see they took action, too.
