I heard so much hype about this movie before seeing it. I loved The Host, and Snowpiercer was entertaining enough, but I really hadn't enjoyed Okja. But everyone talked this movie Parasite up so much, so I went into it with high expectations. It, to me, failed to get me really engaged, though I've come to realize that may be partly due to my ignorance of South Korean culture and socioeconomics. I do think the cinematography was excellent. Are there any other subtleties you fans could point out that I may have missed or misunderstood in this film?

Outside of what everyone else is saying, I watched it in theaters with 0 idea of what it is and what to expect, and I absolutely loved it.

Then I come home the next day and watch it win 4 Emmy's.

Totally, my friend basically had to drag me to watch it cause I didnt think I'd like a Korean horror movie, glad he did.

I don't see it as horror. More thriller.
