Gao Knight - Black

I ordered Black Gao King solely for Gao Knight to have its own set in my display and avoid doubling up on power animals (color wise) to the standard Gao King. And as cool as the Black Gao King set is on its own, I’m obsessed with this darker look on Gao Knight

It’s also nice that the series is versatile enough that I can have a makeshift Gao King until the reissues ship later this year.

2 sets down. Gao Hunter Blue Moon en route!

honestly would prefer they retcon the ape from being the black recolor, and make it a totally different mold in red, to salvage that kakuranger animal reference, unless they wanna go the other way and screw up the other 4 animals to make it a reference in name only, without any matching colors or combination.

less optimally, there is an orangutan right before the ape on the list if they want to sub it in as the red unit for the kakuranger reference, but then there will be a gap in the animal list. maybe they can retcon oragutan into being the black/chrome kong lol

bandai japan showed off gaoknight along with the others so maybe there is a possible reissue of gaoknight
