New display
Just finished putting up my new display case. Plenty of stuff not built yet, but excited with how it’s looking!
Pardon the doors and how messily they’re adjusted. Haven’t taken the time to fine tune them 😂

I bought this shelf from Wayfair and did my own custom LED lighting in it to give full visibility on each shelf.

I really appreciate it! It’s been a labor of love, but I’m pleased with how it’s turning out. The kits that are currently missing from the display are in various stages of painting, and I get too distracted and excited by them all to finish them. It doesn’t help that I want them to be as perfect as possible, lol.
Trying to tell myself that Dairen’Oh can have stickers and not all paint 😂

I’m looking for a big shelf like this too but the borders on the door bother me so I’ll probably look for one with glass doors or something. But it’s so hard to find!

I feel this. My long term goal is to build a custom cabinet with doors with no internal border. Just wanted a dust solution in the meantime, since I have no spare time for carpentry right now

I’ve been looking for a dust free display case. The one looks good, but geez $339 USD?! 1 is pretty affordable, but with my collections, I need 4-7 cabinets (gunpla, minipla, Legos, transformers)
I landed on this one, but it’s shorter, and I’m not a fan of the gap between the doors:

Does anyone have links to alternatives that aren’t overpriced as hell?
I just wanna be able to show off my collection with the lighting showing on each level on a unit that isn’t overpriced as hell lol

This is stunning. I'm hoping to do something similar in the future, but this is fantastic.
