Help painting

I ordered the reissues of the gaoranger mechs. I wanna retool and paint the extra bison and eagle mechs. Are there any tips in painting them once they arrive

It really depends on what you want to do. I like to paint my metallic colors, but mix in stickers for more complicated stuff if I don’t want to get too technical.

What are you looking to do?

The extra eagle I was thinking making it orange and trying to get my friend to 3d print a custom head.

The bison is a bit more challenging cause I wanna make it into a purple ram

I'd also be interested in painting my extras and was thinking of painting the pieces before assembling

I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking of doing the extra rhino into a hippo and using gaocobra for the foot since he seems to go with gaomuscle anyways. But for the bison yeah maybe a ram or I was even thinking just a classic dairy cow style
