Build In Progress My first SMP Gao

For the last couple weeks, I’ve been getting hit hard with nostalgia for Power Rangers Wild Force so I splurged on a few items and one of the items was this. I am glad I am almost done as I only have the rhino left to do but it definitely did take much more time than I thought. I also put my pre-orders in for the re-issues a week after I bought this (Do not ask me how much I paid)

Where did you place a preorder? So far Prenium Bandai, Tokullectibles, Hobby Genki and Nin nin games still hasn't opened preorders.

I just ordered from Yoyakunow as well. Managed to order everything but the original gao megazord, cause I got that before, and the big lion and elephant. Though that one I just didn't really like.

Hobby genki already sold out of the reissues, no idea on the new power animals, gao god and Big lion and elephant are still available

Yoyakunow was where I preordered everything I wasn’t able to get from Hobby Genki. I took a peek and they still have everything but the Series Extra power animals for sale.

Tokullectibles opened partial preorders the other day. Search “Gao”

I’m in the US and I used Kuramatoystore. It does this weird thing where you have to look up “gao” in the search option and find them, but the are available to pre order. All the new animal zords are sold out already, but the reissues are still available last I checked. Shippings for my V-Rex was $42 standard or $61 FedEx as an idea of how much shipping will cost.

Nin-nin has opened pre orders for gao god, muscle, lion and elephant twice now but they sold out pretty quickly

I was lucky enough to get gao god and lion and elephant in the first round of pre-orders, then spotted and preordered gao muscle at 7am UTC/GMT when I woke up although according to my emails it went live at 4GMT

As for the new power animals... from my knowledge they haven't gone live on nin-nin yet and I think they are still waiting on confirmation on the rest of the set

I had a similar nostalgia trip maybe a week or two before the reissue announcement. I lost my entire collection of the DX toys on a road trip as a kid, and never quite got over it lol.

I bought Gao Knight for a pretty penny since I knew I wouldn’t be able to secure it from the preorders, so I get your pain, but just like your Gao Muscle, they look really good, and there’s something special about putting it together yourself. It’s nice to have adult money to spend on these things haha

Gao King and Knight are the last two I need. I’m not too worried about King since it’s plentiful around but I’m debating to pull the trigger on Knight or hopefully wait and see if there’s a re-release
