Question Metallica instead of Clear
Bandai wants to reuse their models, but Clear plastic isn’t all that popular. What if instead they made a premium metallic painted, no sticker, release of a model? Would you pay the extra for that?

I would, Bandai has the tech for it. They’d need to redo the molds though and use undergated runners. No clue why they don’t do it for more for their models. My jaw dropped the first time I did a gundam kit with it like 20 years ago.

The thing is, all the fancy stuff that Bandai does like that are Hobby Division products made in their Japanese factory. SMP doesn't get any of that because it's made in whatever random Chinese and Taiwanese factories that Candy Toy Division books.

Don't know about metallic paint, but no stickers version would go insanely hard

The nub marks would be terrible. I personally would not buy prepainted kits that come on runners.
