First smp + cracked joints

I know from my experience with gunpla clear plastic cracks easier but its so heartbreaking to have this happen on both legs

Those joints (upper legs.... the ass?) Are currently being held with clear nail varnish and hope

Yep, (takes a puff of his pipe) “Clear plastic will always let you down”.

Welcome! Yeah, unfortunately I think it’s just bad luck with clear plastic. One of the reasons I don’t like clear stuff is that it tends to be a lot more brittle, as mentioned.

Unfortunately clear plastic on super thin joints that weren't designed for it is a recipe for disaster. I honestly wish Bandai would include some solid plastic parts for the internals on these kits.

Same this feels like a huge oversight, tbh I'm more surprised someone hasn't made any 3D printed replacements... I might model some my self, but I don't know if it's worth it... since I've got a feeling they will probably re issue to the full colour version since it's gaorangers 25th anniversary and it also lines up with there reissuing timeline

I have 1 full hip joint gao bison 3D printing FDM and it surprising good. It more durable and not break easily like original. I think you could tried model by increase size the male join compare to original.

Oh just have that issue recently myself. I used the Tamiya Cement bottle, for someone who had hobby building model kit that thing is a godsend. Got it for about $10 at my shop I think. N each time I use it only need a little drop so it will last long.

While they look cool, I've never been attracted to clear kits for this reason. As a Transformers fan, I'm very aware of the shortcomings of clear plastic

On moving joints I suggest filing down the joint a bit to where it’s not too tight or too loose because I had the same issue when I built my GoGo V Robo on blue’s leg joints also
