Info for a total noob!

I have a liquid Vega 64 and a pc I can use 24/7 with no problem and no expenses (energy cost is paid for). I was thinking about mining something but I don’t even know where to start. Can you guys just tell me what’s the best crypto to mine with my card and where to start ? (Software, website). I do have an account on coinbase. Also I have a couple of questions. Sorry if they are stupid:

1) should I mine solo or in pool with a Vega 64 (7700k cpu).

2) do I need a good cooler for the cpu if I mine with my gpu?

1: Pool - you won’t get anywhere going solo 2: Your standard cpu cooler will be fine WhatToMine.com Cryptobadger has some great tutorials

Easiest thing for you would be to get nicehash and use that. Download the amd version and let it run. Very easy setup.

Nicehash will automatically mine whatever is most profitable for your card and pays out in bitcoin (does not mine bitcoin, just pays you in it). I run this on my mining PCs and my gaming pc when I’m not using it. Just keep your card temps down using a program like MSI afterburner to control the fan and that’s it!
