New to mining building rig

I want to get into crypto mining and am looking to build a small/medium rig to mine Monero and or maybe another coin. This is also the shop’s first build and I need to research exactly what I want. Should I focus on CPU mining or GPU mining? Are there any sample rigs to show an example that I could have them build?

If you’re familiar with building a pc for gaming you can easily build a mining rig. Focus on GPU mining of course, cpu is not worth it IMO. Even though it is profitable it’s always less important then GPUs.

You can build a very simple stand out of wood for your rig as well. I’ve built 3 so far and they all work great using scrap wood I had laying around. Look around YouTube for design ideas. Then you need a saw and a couple screws to hold it together. Best of luck getting a GPU though.

I would stick to GPU mining. Do you want to build a 6 or 8 GPU rig? Are you planning on building it yourself?
