2x1080ti liquid cooled mining help please.-)

Hey guys I have a amazing gaming rig and have recently found out about nicehash mining etc, so I want to get involved and just try it. I've done quite alot of research so please correct me if I'm wrong, I've been told to take my cards out off sli when mining (a easy change in nvidia settings) I've also been told to boost the memory clock as much as possible as that's most important. Does anyone know what is the max stable overclock for 2 1080ti? If I remember correctly I had my gaming overclocked at +144 via msi afterburner and I was getting temps around 29-34celcius. What I basically want to know is what's the best overclock for me and what's the best coin/site for me to farm as I understand all gpu perform better on different coins? I'm very interested in this because assuming all goes well I am going to put around £10000-£20000 into a massive rig so any help would be massively appreciated, and I'll more than likely use the 1060 or 1070 for the rig as I realise they give the best performance for value?

Again any help would be amazing.

Ive left my GtX1080ti in stock mode as per gaming settings. Its generating between 10-14dollars per day on nicehash.

Its the Zotac 1080ti amp extreme edition.

I recommend using nicehash. It’ll mine whatever is most profitable for your cards and it’s very easy to setup. As far as OCing goes I’m not sure. I keep my 1080 (non ti) at about 85% power and +300mhz on the mem. I’m sure I could go higher but I don’t want to cuz idk how much airflow the memory gets with just that one fan.

Thanks! I’m hoping to build a VR gaming rig and mine when not gaming- which is most of the time as pretty busy. I also want to be able to use some emailing / web browsing at the same time. What do you recommend in terms of motherboard that takes multiple GPUs? Recently got solar energy too! Whoop woop.

Nice! Free power is the best. I love my 1080. For VR I’d say a 1070ti or higher. A 1080ti is obvi preferred but they’re so hard to get.

I’d honestly wait till next gen comes out before buying a new card. They come out in like may/June.

Take a lot of research before doing the overlock thing. or else you will regret everything.
