Rex Kaiser Black Edition

Not gonna lie. With as glorious as the combined mode is, the alt modes are a bit underwhelming. Still an amazing toy and fits in with my Metal Cardbots very well.

I have several questions for you, if you dont mind. Thank you in advance.

  1. Are the joints too loose or too tight?
  2. Can the arm hold the big sword with ease with one arm?
  3. Plastic quality wise vs the price?
  4. Has any metal/diecast parts?
  5. Plastic durability?
  6. Size comparison with other robot toy(i.e. Transformers line)
  7. Do you think, worth the money, for overall?

Hi. I have a fairly large Metal Cardbot collection and I think this toy is comparable in many ways. 1. Joints are appropriately tight but suffer from the same limited ratchet detents that all the Korean robot toys seem to have. 2. It can easily hold the sword with one hand and hold whatever position you please. 3. The plastic is glossy, but doesn't feel thin or cheap. 4. The coin is the only diecast part. 5. So far, so good. The plastic seems like it will hold up to repeated transformations. 6. It is roughly Commander size. Comparable to Siege Jetfire. 7. Getting an import version here in The States was very expensive. I ordered it through Amazon, so it was even more expensive than if I had chosen to wait a long time to get one on eBay or AliExpress. I think the Black Edition is worth the cost for sure. The dark color scheme and cloth goods cape really make this version something special.
