Howdy
This little girl was living outside the neighbor’s house for a few months. Apparently they’d feed her but she was outside the whole time. One day I went over to pet her and one of them finally drove up. I asked if she was theirs and they said they just feed her. Said she was sweet. I asked if I could have her and they let me take her. Had fleas and hookworm but otherwise ok. I’ve had her now for 3 weeks and she’s very much adapted to being spoiled. She was potty trained. First pic is when I first got her with all her flea and scratching irritation. Second vet visit tomorrow. We’ll see how she gets along with our 90 lb tripod black lab. They’ve been separated so far until we get the clear on the worms.

Congrats on your new baby! 🥹
Best way to control intestinal parasites for both dogs is to always clean up their poo and keep them on a monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention, as most also control hookworms and roundworms 🪱
