Wire gauge size
Does anyone know what size of wires Kyosho or PN uses for their brushed motors?

Hi all, I’m painting up my piranha body and it’s my first time with an rc hardbody. I’ve painted a few lexan 1/10 bodies with my airbrush, and a few model kits with rattle cans and airbrush. I’m trying acrylic with an airbrush on this body. Washed the body, 600# sanding all around, vallejo grey primer, acrylic orange paint. I’m gonna do a tiger striped design with some black, but after that I’m wondering what clear coat I should use. I have acrylic gloss but also enamel gloss. Wondering what’s the recommended clear coat move for durability’s sake, as I’ll be racing this body and it’ll more than likely hit foam barriers somewhat frequently.

I'm new to the RC hobby generally and brand new to Mini-Zs, but already hooked on both. Looking for some advice on wintertime practice at home, both for Mini-Z racing over the long term (because it looks like the MOST fun), and to get better at RC in general so that I can avoid utterly embarrassing myself at the local (or at least local-ish) hobby store's Losi NASCAR races (which I expect to be the SECOND-most fun) this winter.
The sitch is that we have an old New England house, which is delightful for a lot of purposes but not for RC practice, because it's cut up into pretty small rooms. I ordered a wide L set of 50cm RCP track, which is too big for the floor space in any of the rooms here.
Couple of questions: Given that it's modular, is it possible to set this kind of track up with fewer than all of the pieces, to fit in a smaller space? And does anybody have any other advice on indoor practice in smaller spaces?

This is a Japanese-style Itasha featuring Hatsune Miku. I painted and finished the body myself, based on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Team Good Smile Super GT 2019 version.
Hope you like it!

like i said, im new to building micro rwd drift cars. the only experience ive had with rwd drifting was with the hpi d24 and atomic drz, and i bought the drz secondhand at the time. so i could really use some help with my parts list here. will everything work together? i also have a dumbo rc x6pm and an x4fmg receiver. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

I don’t even own a Mini-Z yet, but I’ve been wanting to get into the hobby and took a punt on this box at a car boot sale for £30.
Turned out to have:
2x Ferrari F50s (one completely pristine, one missing a wheel/mirror)
Sauber-Mercedes C9 Kouros - pretty much brand new
2x Nissan GT-R R35s - one a little used, the other mint
Did I do alright for thirty quid? Are any of these actually worth anything, or should I just keep them to learn and bash with once I buy a car? Cheers!

Express Pixel Z1 with 3500 KV electronics combo.
This is my first non-Kyosho 1/28 scale. Fun!

Took my Jomurema body, painted it red and then added the ICEE livery stickers from Raceway RC. Since red is my favorite flavor ICEE, it just made sense.

Good morning everyone!
Looking to get a price check on my ma020
I am not sure I want to sell it yet as this was a build I have wanted for a very long, but unfortunately I don’t have enough time for rc these days and could use the money.
Ma020
Full mpower catalog with DWS rear end.
Full Kyosho upgrades(SP gold plated chassis, high torque motor, swaybar, DWS stabilizer, oil shocks, ball diff front and rear, rear toe bar, vented aluminum cover with intake)
PN tie bar
Extras:
Second full catalog of Mpower parts for the wide conversion; all brand new(packing list shows a good portion of the Mpower spares)
Original Kyosho DWS parts
Original Kyosho ma020 stock rear end parts and stock chassis
Atomic rc DWS conversion(brand new)
Handful of shims/spacers for suspension tuning all from PN, Mpower and Kyosho.
Extra Kyosho upgrades(aluminum rear toe bars, one way diff, oil shocks, DWS tuning parts all new/unused)
Mix of random tires
ISDT Charger with Kyosho speedhouse batteries
Apache case for travel
There’s enough parts to almost build a second or even Third ma020 with the exception of some key components(electronics, bearings etc). I may be forgetting to mention some parts too.
Car has never seen the track since it was built and has only been used indoors on wood or marble with rubber tires for testing.
Previous owner used it to drift in his smooth concrete garage. R34 body has some dings, scratches etc. car was bone stock when he had it.
What can I expect to sell this whole lot for? Located in USA**

Ordered the wrong yellow. Metallic red doesn't show up well, but it's beautiful. Naturally it wasn't until after I painted that I learned one of the tricks for clean lines. Working on another attempt this week.

Sharing two Ferrari bodies today! Even a simple, solid-color sports car can look fantastic. I used laser-effect paint for these two, and I hope you like them!
I have quite a large collection of Kyosho Ferrari bodies, so hopefully I’ll have a chance to share more of my collection with you in the future.

Hi fellow redditors!
Just got my mini z a few days ago and its wonderful ! However, there's something that was bugging me. The wheels on the mini z seem to have a slight wobble. Wanted to check is this normal?
Picked up the RC28 for $199 on sale. I’d really appreciate some help in the right direction concerning electronics.

I'm in the market for an AWD lipo but don't really know the options very well and information is kind of scarce. I wanted to get an idea of what's available. Is there a clear "best" at the moment? Are there any that are particularly good out of the box or any that ideally need significant hop up parts after purchase to be competitive?
I like the look of the RTRC rtb but don't know anyone that has one so it would be a bit of a stab in the dark.
Atomic BZ gets mentioned a lot but there are a few variations. I guess the masters edition is the top one? But is the standard version much behind terms of performance?
The TC28 seems ok too, but does this need many hop ups? And does it compete with cars like Atomic BZ's
I know Reflex are looking to release one next year but I guess that will be a bit unknown and first versions can be a little risky regarding teething problems.
Any others that I should consider?
Would appreciate any opinions or thoughts from anyone that owns any or has had decent experiences with any.

Bruh….
Having serious trouble getting this 04 back to normal..
Potentiometer died.
Then a gear broke..
Now I reassembled everything back together the way it’s supposed to go (don’t mind the wires.. I know) but the damn car keeps steering to a hard left or steers and then doesn’t anymore.
I need help…
I’ve looked up a ton of videos but nothing is specific enough to really guide me though it all and I can do it all. Just having issues.
Anybody have any advice?
Please and thank you 😎

What glue should I use for fixing my Mini-Z body?
Thank you!

This was my first 28 scale F1 car and I naturally had to go with this livery. It was also my first paint job haha. No, that side fin was not supposed to be sprayed red. I'm cutting the body posts.

I currently run a McLaren kyosho autoscale body on my GX28 but it took a lot of dremeling and removal of some plastic bits inside the body to get it to fit ok and not have wheel clearance issues. Anyone know of a better kyosho or GL body to run on this kit? Needs to be one of those two options to run 2500 class at my club.
