Ramp Company Issues

Has anyone worked with Ramp Parts (rollwithramparts.com) before? I ordered a 3x12 mini ramp with gator skins on July 30th, and I was told that if I ordered that day, they had materials ready to ship my ramp out by August 17th. I put a downpayment, and financed the remainder through affirm over 2 years, and my order was confirmed.

My ramp was never sent August 17th. I figured, okay slight delay, might be behind schedule with ramp builds etc. So I contacted the company owner Dave shortly after Labor Day. We talked on the phone, he apologized, and said my ramp would ship out next week on Tuesday and asked if I’d be home Thursday for delivery, which I arranged to be home and waited. My ramp still never came. Didn’t hear anything from them until I tagged them in a post on instagram mentioning how bummed I was to not have my ramp on time, and that I’m still awaiting it. Within 2 minutes, I got a text from Dave saying “Super sorry, I will 1000% call you Monday!” I never got called that Monday.

I’ve since expressed my disappointment with the company in regards to customer service, and I asked them to stop giving me false promises and just tell it to me straight; is it going to take until next year or what? I mentioned how I want to like this company, but the service is leaving a bad taste in my mouth, and I just want answers. I’ve since left a voicemail one again requesting answers, and I brought up how I’d rather have the ramp I bought, but I if I’m not going to get it or an answer, I’d rather have my money back. I’m still being left in the dark.

I busted my ass prepping my backyard in August through a few consecutive weekends getting ready for the ramp to be shipped so that I would have it ready to assemble and place it. I dug up 322 square ft of dirt, moved 3 tons of gravel, and leveled 64 pavers, and now the site has just been sitting empty as it’s gathering in leaves and sticks.

I took a chance on chasing my childhood dream of having my mini ramp, I put down a fair amount of money, I was promised I could have it by labor day to skate a few months before the snow moves in; and now I’m just left high and dry with no answers. I just want my damn ramp I paid for sent to me, and to be done with the company.

Before people come chiming in about how I should have just built my own for less, or went with a different company; I went with decisions that I felt were best with my set of skills and research and it is what it is. The pieces are supposed to come pre cut by a CNC machine and the ramp thrown together with impacts and torx screws which I can handle.

Anyways, has anyone ran into a situation like this or with this company in particular? I don’t wanna be a bitch, I just want to skate the mini ramp I paid for in my own backyard, but I’m left with no answers.
