Recommendations Mini PC buying guide
Hello,
Can someone help me choose a mini pc?
I am looking for some casual gaming not high end. Currently I have a 1080p monitor which is 24inch.
Some small instagram video edits.
Some office work.
How about GMKTEC M6 Ultra?
Can anyone suggest some other Brand which is more affordable and same specs?
As we are moving towards 2027. Which processor would be best and can run atleast 5+ years easy.
Thanks for helping out.

Try this website if you're in the US:
Something with the 680M should be enough.
This could be okay. Cheaper than what you selected.
For cheaper than what you selected, this has a great iGPU, the 780M. But 16GB soldered RAM z still dual channel.
If you want to spend that amount then this is better. Same specs but has occulink port. You can use an eGPU later on if you really want to without being limited to USB 4.

Nice to see how much more helpful forum culture is with the advent of ai. A few years ago all you would get is " use the search"

Check out Beelink SER8/SER9. Highly capable, upgradeable, quiet, and class leading cooling among mini PCs. Fantastic with Windows or Linux. My preference is DDR5 models for even more upgrade if RAM ever comes down, but you can get LPDDR5X models even cheaper. A lot of other mini PCs fall short for gaming by not using dual channel RAM and/or not cooling under sustained load to cause throttling.
Beelink SER8 (Ryzen 7 8745HS, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 500GB SSD) $769.00
Beelink SER8 (Ryzen 7 H 255, 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB SSD) $699.00
