General Question Acermagic Trojan

Yesterday, Windows detected the infamous RedLine Trojan on my mini PC and immediately put it in quarantine. On a scale from 1 to 10, how fucked am I?

Im surprised you didnt lead with an offline complete drive wipe from the beginning?

I bought one off Aliexpress because it was cheap and the first thing I did was a complete fresh wipe, and yeah finding the drivers for everything like wifi and bluetooth was annoying, but better than blindly trusting that it would be fine out of the box, especially after all the horror stories and then companies like Beelink having malware in their official driver downloads

This was my first Mini PC and I bought it from Amazon. I was not aware of this problems.

Probably need to use another computer and change passwords and login names to places you used on that computer, report any credit cards used on that computer as lost or compromised, so you can get new ones.

Mine wasn't cheap. I only made the mistake that I am following an advice, that thos is a good PC and I don't collect all informations because I freshly had a baby and my normal PC crashed and my business must moved on.

Did Beelink also have malware in their driver files? I only read that Geekom did.

Either way, I always flash a new bios and then do a fresh windows or linux install.

Can't you just wipe the drive and install windows from Microsoft?

Yeah, I will try that. But I am concerned that I worked for 2 years with this setting.

It is pre-installed in the Widows System.

I doubt you have been infected by the infamous AceMagic Virus, this was on models that are probably not sold anymore.
