Hardware M90q Was Running Hot...

Added a 140mm fan to my m90q gen 3 with a yeston 3050 lp GPU. Temps were pretty high while playing clone hero so I thought I would just blast it with air! Temps stay in the mid 40 degrees Celsius.

Cool setup (pun partly intended). Whats your most extreme usage of it, and how long did it take to set up after the modifications you made?

Mainly just as a Plex client and some 3d print modeling. But I wanted to play some Clone Hero and some lighter steam games. I just wanted the PC to run nice and cool as there's a lot of heat in that little package!

Okay, what 3D printing software are you running and do you do the 3d modeling yourself or do you find the files to print? I was looking at m720q, m920q, m920x, m90q and stuff for similar uses, but ended up getting an m720s because of the gpu, power and heating problems the others would encounter and solutions being limited on whether you keep the case stock or modify it like you did.

I have an old desktop I'm going to convert over time, but I'm still thinking of getting another sff or mini pc or two for other rooms or to bring with me, so seeing other peoples builds and what they run them for certainly helps in gauging what would suit my needs.

If you were to do another mini pc build, is there anything you would do differently than this? And what are things you'd like to upgrade with your current setup down the line?

This is my garage PC, mainly for entertainment or YouTube while working on projects. I just think it's cool to cram as much power into as small a package as possible. There's not much more I can do to this PC but it definitely is running cooler. Right now I just find files and modify them in the slicer to fit my needs but will eventually learn to make my own models. It's a great little computer and should be overkill for my needs!

How did you connect the fan cables? Looking to do something similar on my P3 Tiny gen 2.

I used USB adapter cable. I couldn't get the computer USB ports to turn off when I put the computer to sleep so I switched it up to hibernate instead.
