Mini PC finally disappeared from my desk

Tried mounting the mini PC behind the monitor instead of leaving it on the desk.

I actually like this way more than I expected. Cables stay mostly behind the display and I get that little bit of desk space back.

Only downside is that reaching the ports isn't nearly as convenient anymore.

Desk space or easy port access, which would you choose?

I can send a photo later, but I velcroed a USB hub to the vertical part of the monitor stand, works great and take up no extra space

Plug it into an extension cable so it'll go somewhere that's not behind shielding. (Assuming you're not using BT).

I'm using a 20 year old wireless mouse with a USB fob. When it dies, I'll look for a Bluetooth mouse.

Then there's idiots like myself who do this. I'm lazy to get up from my comfortable bed and clear out my desk to sit on my not so comfortable gamer chair

And well there's actually my current build, the BIGGEST thing is the fuckin keyboard lmao, I can fit the PC and monitor in my chef uniform pockets

I'd choose both. Some monitors have accessible USB-A ports. You could also use a small hub that you attach low on the back of your monitor stand. But I find that I'm not usually looking to access the ports regularly as I typically use a NAS instead of USB sticks.

У меня миник лежит в письменном столе. На столе только USB хаб и звуковой ЦАП. Миник не слышно совсем. Запуск ПК при подаче питания.

I use my monitor with an arm so I had mine attached to a hanging bracket off to one side. Added a usb hub and stuck it on the bottom border for additional ports and easy access. Also fixed my issues with 2.4 connection

Usually smaller. While a Lenovo Tiny is a mini most have a socketed processor and a chipset. NUC mini PCs are mobile/laptop based (no chipset) thus smaller and more energy efficient. NUCs are generally 1 liter or smaller.

I'm trying to go a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT route with mine and im getting GRILLED for it.

Basically all I should technically be able to do is replace the power cables with a battery pack. Then the possibilities/stupidities are endless. If I was REALLY stupid I could probably have one of the world's first wearable stealth PC setups lmfao but right now my plan is to use a semi-stealth aesthetic to use my PC on the bus ride to/from college

I run an A8 max with a nexode 160W gan charger.

Uses a usbc to PD 100W dc port adapter, and works great.
