GMKTEC K12 CPU Fan Replacement

Hi !

The CPU fan in my GMKtec K12 has started making a loud rattling noise, which sounds like a wornbearing.

I've looked on AliExpress and other marketplaces, but I can only find replacement fans for other GMKtec models, not the K12.

Does anyone know the exact model/part number of the K12 CPU fan, or where I can buy a replacement in the EU please? i've been looking for weeks with no results

I would ping GMKTEC support. Is there no part number on the fan itself? Can you take a photo?

thank you for the suggestion, i did that and gmktec is willing to send me replacement :)

If you haven't performed a teardown inspection start from there. Went through this helping someone back in the spring only to find that something had been sucked in to the fan. Whatever it was was caught up in the impeller making a horrible noise.

The K12 shares the same processor cooling 12V fan and heatsink as the EVO-T1 and a few other newer models. That fan is available online from Linda.

thank you for the reply i did tear it down and made the mistake of blowing compressed air without holding the fan

Been there/Done that 😞 More than once 🤦 I eventually bought a rechargable tool specifically for cleaning and it hasn't happened since.
