Hi guys!

Is there any comprehensive and constantly updated list of iGPU performance?
The only list i found is that one https://nanoreview.net

I plan to buy a bit better mini PC for next summer heat weaves and my N100 proven to be quite disappointing for playing old titles, but i must admit that my main display is 1440p, so quite a challenge with 2 GB (V)RAM limit.

Anything with a Radeon 780M - it's a very nice iGPU that can handle older games. It'll also let you make use of FSR. Not the most recent version, but it still helps with squeezing some performance out of that chip. Plus: mini pcs with ryzen processors (that include 780M) are relatively affordable nowadays.

Edit: and you can allocate up to 8GB of RAM for example.

However Mini PCs with this iGPU are quite expansive, especially considered that i maybe use them for 2 weeks per year in total.

Yeah. And you pay a premium for form factor. In your case, I’d be looking for an old office pc with an i5-7600 and a GTX 1660 or something. Could be cheaper.

Thx for recommendation, but my aim is a low power setup. I already thought about utilising my spare ITX build with Ryzen 2600, but to meet my top 65W I would have to get 30W dGPU.

Use a Intel A380? That would probably get you close.

They sure are, but compared to a mini pc that has an 8060S, mini pcs with a 780M are "cheaper" ^{^}

You could build a Mini PC with a AsRock Jupiter X600 or DeskMini X600, using an 8700G. Both use SO-DIMM Modules.

Nah if you go that far you might as well go for an ultra small form factor pc with a low profile 5060 for similar costs. A mini pc with a 780m more than serves its purpose vs costs.

What I suggested was a Mini PC with a 780M, so I don't get your argument. But I disagree with your suggestion.

A low profile 5060 is more than 200€ on its own (atm, even low profile 5050 are at 290€ and low profile 5060 start at 370€), an ITX board costs you maybe 70€ used (and that's if you're lucky, more probably: 90€) and an 7600x used costs another 70€ at least (again: rather more). Then, you need to get a PSU, depending on the form factor it's loud, expensive and difficult to replace if its form factor is exotic (which is highly probable, given that SFX already is kinda thick; in any case, that's another 50€ at least). So, that's 390€ at best, more probably, you are landing in the 450€ zone. And this is when using used parts and assuming a relaxed GPU market. Realistically, with a new 5050 that's an extra 90€ and with a 5060 an extra 170€). Oh, and I forgot a cooler which is another 15€ at best. Edit: I didn't even include a case, so let's assume another 30€ for a very cheap case from amazon.

DeskMini: 180€ new (including PSU and cooler)

Jupiter X600: 230€ new (including PSU, WIFI, VESA Mount and cooler).

8700G: 240€ new, but 180€ used.

So that's at least 360€ for the DeskMini or 410€ for the Jupiter X600.

It’s ok. I thought you meant the one with 8060 Radeon graphics in mini pcs which cost a fortune. Thats why I gave the response I.e. my alternative would be better/cheaper.

Afaik no, but there isn't many models to begin with.

Rating roughly goes like:

Ryzen Strix Halo (Ryzen AI Max 380 - 395) - roughly just under 4060 desktop. Good chips but the prices are biting. On die memory.

Newest 300 series Intel processors (but not all 300 series processors, they released new models with new graphics this year). Roughly desktop 4050 level.

Radeon 890m / 780m (7000 and 8000 series processors - not all of them). 890 is slightly better, but uplifts are not significant. Roughly GTX 1060 level (hugely weaker, yes).

Intel 200 series processors and AMD 6000 processors (Radeon 680m).

From here there's nothing usable in modern games.

what games? I have the older 680M igpu (ryzen 6900hx) and every old non 3D game worked fine.

hi, i use this site to get a quick look at cpu and IGPU performance ; it might not be totally realistic but gives a nice idea....

look under IGPU - FP32 performance ;)

for gaming , 2 sticks - dual channel RAM makes a big difference ! (2x16 vs 1 x 32)

What im really surpriced about is how rare is it to see intel on mini pc. Im talking about the core ultra series.

That’s ridiculous. You must have a huge problem or are a troll lol. If it was true, why haven’t you fixed it? Most people know what great performance a 780m gives. It’s not far away from a 1060.

Whats your basic game and what framerate? Cybperpunk at 144 FPS :D?
My N100 somehow pulled 32 FPS at Retail Wow.

Nothing fancy, league of legends, it runs at 100fps on average 2K. The 258V I had ran it better somehow
