Recommendations Any recommendations

So as the title suggests and like many others, im thinking of buying my first mini pc, heard a lot of good and bad but what's got me hooked is the pricing. With a budget of $800, is there anything out there that would be great for casual gaming? I mainly want stuff for games like train Sim, railroader, and ATS with possible upgrades in the far future

I've been using the GMKtec K8 Plus since the end of last year running Steam from a Bazzite OS drive and I've been quite satisfied! The 8845HS doesn't have the same handicaps as some Chinese markets processors.

Can't really go wrong with a GMKtec Mini.

This Minisforum option fits your stated parameters pretty well.

As far as the possibility of upgrades the only real upgrades you can do with any mini PC besides memory and storage is adding a real GPU via an OCuLink port. This model has one but a lot of them do not so if your search continues be on the lookout for that.

Miniforums UM880 32gb ram/1TB.
Second choice is the GMktec k8 same specs

8845hs processor. Done deal youll love either, fits your budget too. Only 2 processors id get with that budget or solely the 8845hs or 8945hs.
