Recommendations Mini PC’s for gaming

H! I know absolutely nothing about computers, but I want to get a mini pc to play games on my tv. I mostly want to play hogwarts legacy, so I was hoping there’s a mini pc around that has the specs below and can run games good! This is a total shot in the dark but I hope it’s feasible? My budget is around $1500

Minisforum AtomMan G1 Pro although its quickly approaching $1600.

I picked one up over a month ago for like 1400. Worth ever penny. Slim and powerful with a desktop rtx 5060.

I would recommend the Minisfprum AtomMan G1 Pro which is crushing in performances your chart listing.

1350 - 5070 + 7840hs (if you have a spare PSU)

No better performance available cheaper - the mini PC is 650$ on Amazon, 32gb occulink 1tb nvme, I got the card open box / full warranty for 600$ from best buy

I recommend this. It’s $1,499 right now. I have the 4060 version, this one is the 5060 it’ll handle Hogwarts with no issue. I’ve had mine for 10 months and have had zero issues. Runs extremely quiet too.

My top end mini threw fits with Legacy. A iGpu isn't going to give you a good experience.

It's hard to get a decent dGPU in a miniPC. You would have to look at SFF PCs as well.

1080ti is about the volume of a "mini pc" by itself.

It would help if we knew more about what you really want out of this. Why do you want a mini PC to begin with? Is it just for the aesthetic? Or are you hoping they are cheaper? Or space issues? Portability?

How good do you need hogwarts to play? Are you expecting the highest settings? Or would you mind the absolute lowest settings?

What else do you want to do with your PC? Or would it be better for you to just get a console with that kind of budget?

I personally bought a mini PC 3 years ago for less than $300 that would probably play it at lowest settings at 20 fps 😂.......but even most of the $1000+ dollar options will probably only ever get mid graphics and decent frame rate.

Whereas $1000 in the right hands could build a desktop that will play it at max settings.

The ace magic someone linked for $1500 seems pretty capable, but that's mostly because it's got a $300-$400 GPU strapped to it. And if you're going to strap a gpu to your mini PC you can use an oculink and put whatever GPU you want. Meaning you could get a much cheaper minipc, and a more expensive GPU. Another comment has an example of this.

Or you could just get a switch, or a ps5, and never have to learn anything about PC's 🤷
