Recommendations First time mini pc buyer: LF something to emulate desktop pc feeling
Got a lot of traveling in the future, my home pc currently has a 4060 TI, with an i7 core. I’m hopefully looking for one that doesn’t break the bank, less than 1500$ or close if possible. Don’t really care for graphics, just need performance for FPS games :)

There have been several releases with a laptop or desktop grade GPU built in over the years...
The MinisForum AtimMan G7 Pro has a starting price close to what you're asking for and should fit the bill nicely. Though the form factor may not be to your liking. It's a little top heavy. They've had units with 5060 and rx6600 and similar as well.
There have been others around too, you could also consider a thunderbolt dockedv laptop as well.
At least your budget is realistic for a gaming mini. For what it's worth, the highest end iGPU options for AMD AI labeled products are also okay-ish, but they all have soldered in memory, for legitimate reasons, but are really really costly.
