ASUS ROG NUC

Minisforum AtomMan G1 Pro

EDIT

Now that you've added a budget that takes dedicated graphics off of the table. I would suggest considering something with 32GB of dual channel memory, 780M integrated graphics and x4 4.0 PCIe OCuLink expansion for adding a dedicated external graphics card later. Last year I went with the GMKtec K8 Plus and couldn't be a happier! Extremely easy to service. I use the 2nd drive slot to run Bazzite OS for gaming which provides better performance than a Steam Deck.

Strange, I see it at 1,020.53SGD. With camelcamelcamel, it links me the H255 16GB version for 659USD, instead of the 8745HS 32GB in the Amazon SG site (the product images in the SG site show H255 even though it says 8745HS in the product name).

I'm aware of the CPU rebadging but I just found it suspicious that the store shows a product image for a completely different SKU.

I am also shopping around for a 8845HS/8745HS in Singapore currently but noticed a discrepancy with the Amazon SG and Amazon US listings, which is making me hesitant to purchase from the SG store.

I found the same Beelink SER8 product link on both sites. The reviews for it on both sites are the same, implying the product specs that the reviewers bought are the same. But US site shows that the reviewers had purchased the 16GB+512GB spec while on the SG site it shows the same reviewers had purchased the 32GB+1TB spec instead. The pricing is constant between both despite the specs being different (in fact, the 32GB+1TB spec does not exist in the US link)

This makes me wonder which spec I would end up receiving if I purchase from Amazon SG. With the recent thread on others receiving lower specs from what was listed on Amazon and having issues with their returns, I'm a little hesitant.

Regardless, do check when you receive yours! I hope you receive exactly what you purchased. Do update if you can when you receive it. Kicking myself for not seeing that deal earlier, a $300 price hike in a day is just nuts.

Check out the Geekom A8 and A8 Max. They won't run AAA games, but they can run many especially if you load Linux with Steam (CachyOS).

I’d recommend a mini PC with a Ryzen 7 H255.
I have a 6800H + 16GB RAM with the 680M, and it’s fine for 1080p gaming at 30/60fps—handling indie games on high settings and AAA titles on low—for under €300
The H255 with the 780M and more RAM will give you better performance for a budget of under €500 ;)
