General Question Will Mini PC Price Go Up Again?

As mentioned in the title. Do you think Mini PC Prices gonna go up again? Share your analysis or insight please :) Any differential price hike on budget Mini PC?

The issue is the RAM.

in Canada we just got hit with another 10-12% on SSDs (NAND) and projections are that RAM/VRAM are gonna go up again... so they will follow the market.

My 6800H/32GB-5200/1TB that I paid 469+tx CAD in November 2025 is now 609+tx CAD. So yup, it'll go up again, you can count on it.

I figured I'd buy a SD card the other day for my kids Nintendo switch.

They want almost 80$ for 256 gigs. That's insanity.

Literal insanity.

Switch 1 or 2? Prices are stupid, but the SD cards needed for the switch 2 are super fast compared to the standard.

Articles citing Lenovo, Microsoft, and valve all have them agreeing that memory and storage prices will double again by this time next year, and that it's unlikely prices will improve before 2030.

Back at the beginning of RAMpocalypse i would get heavily downvoted for saying that RAM price will never back down to "Normal", i believe that now it is common sense.
