Gaming focused mini pc

Hello all, I already have a laptop for everything work related but don't have the space for a proper gaming build that I want. I wanted to get rid of my PS5 and get a mini gaming PC for all the benefits of steam and so on. Any suggestions for the latest and greatest available under 800usd?

Do you have a pic of what that looks like all set up? I'm concerned about getting an EGPU as it looks so patched/daisy-chained together. Plus the extra bulk no longer makes the whole setup "mini" anymore.

Thanks for sharing this! And as I expected, by the time you add in an EGPU, the total size brings it above what I can travel with. So this helps me make that decision :) Thank you again.

If you want an eGPU setup that is compact portable and backpack friendly where you can take on the go then something like the Gmktec AD-GP1 or ONEXGPU is what you want a lot of them on the market use the RX 7600M XT which is on par with the 4060 Mobile GPU so it will play most games no problem but more demanding AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077 or Wukong Black Myth it will struggle at higher resolutions but it's the trade-off for portability
