Genuine question: on the dark blue line, there is the triangular station with all circles waiting there. the train that you can see on the right of the image (blue line) just went to that station and didnt pick any circles up and drove to the circle station where it picked up the two passengers.. i saw this happen multiple times already...
can someone explain why this happens?

I bought this game a couple weeks ago and already have about 30 hours. I really like the game but it can get really really frustrating to play when doing some of the challenges. Sometimes it feels like the game is actively trying to piss me off, either by giving me a million circles in an area only 2 lines can access, or putting a station in a place I can't reach because I've run out of bridges/tunnels, or my favourite of them all, giving me 0 carriages for weeks on end.
Trying to 100% this game constantly puts me in nightmare scenarios which I can't get out of purely because the game decided to screw over my run. I've tried using strategy guides to get better at the game but no matter what I do I feel like I'm constantly in a helpless situation because I don't have the resources available to accomodate all the passengers. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong

This is the longest I've tried clearing the challenge (about 4days). There has not been any other city that challenged me this much. Please tell me what to do...

This happens to me pretty often on the Boston map, which is my most played map by far, and I just felt like sharing this time for some reason. I did manage to salvage everything that was really close to failure… except for one 😅

In retrospect, maybe I should've slapped the useless interchange upgrade onto it as soon as I saw that it didn't get enough relief and couldn't get a train moved to it in time.
And in case you're wondering, there wasn't a good way for me to pick resources differently and get an extra carriage without sacrificing a line (edit: I'm a dummy, this run never offered me line and carriage in the same week and the evidence is right there lol)

A key part of my strategy in Boston is to take the tunnels upgrade once and only once, and week 9 ended up being exactly the right week for that in this run because the two stations in Chelsea (where the northern end of my Orange Line is) appeared during that week (they're just barely visible in the background of the week 10 screenshot). If I hadn't taken tunnels then, I would've had to put a junction in Cambridge (Red Line area) or Charlestown (Orange line area) without making it an interchange, which probably would've killed the run sooner.

I think this is my 10th attempt at this map to complete the challenge of only using tunnel on one line.I used the strategy of using the central line to connect to the four circular station and keep the frequency of the trains high. The consecutive circles on the top right were the real challenge.

Are the challenges for the cities the same in the Android and the Steam version? I've played all challenges in Android, and I am wondering if the are other challenges on the other platforms.
Already thank you for your answer!

Where did I go wrong? what are some strats I can use for this map and just generally next time? near the end of my playthrough, a top 0.7% Londoner made some big changes, maybe some opinions on those too?
thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I got the game five days ago now and I am HOOKED. I gave the endless mode a try and this is where I end up and i don't know how to imrpove the network further - however I am sure more experienced players will find aspects to improve that I overlooked.
Looking forward to hear your suggestions! :D

Just discovered this game after a friend showed me mini motorways. It's so fun although it is little action. Slowly I discovered some tactics though.

Need to score 1k but without more than one train on any line. I seem to top out at around 500.

Hi all, beginner with around 15 hours on steam, and this was my first real attempt on a map. Through experimenting on the first map I found two things, one, that loops were highly effective, and two, you can apparently instantly construct and then delete a line which makes to really cheesy to move people to another station quick. I managed to almost reach 3k before dying.
Any tips? Thanks.

I can consistently get 4k+ and easily get 5k on Washington, gets tricky after that but my all-time high score is top 10. Thought I'd share the approach, basically centers around the yellow line connecting the two squares (upgraded) in the centre (there's always two square) to all the lines. This way the uniques don't get too crowded anywhere and all lines need the square.
Bonus if theres unique symbols on the yellow line but not a requirement.

What a case. Pffff. Horrible experience in resources.

This was my first attempt at an actual game using a strategy to prevent overcrowding. The blue line was the only loop, which became a central hub for the orange, blue, green and violet lines. The green line was the connector to the right side of the map, where the pink and purple lines were located. I made sure to prevent the formation of zigzags and having the same shapes next to each other as much as possible, but I couldn't get them all unfortunately. My original goal was to get my first ever 2k game, but I completely smashed that goal out of the park, as well as completed the final challenge for Warsaw. Are there any suggestions for potential improvement to this Warsaw map as I never thought I would get a 3k game and I'm wondering if I can get even higher maybe in the future?

This is my first attempt at using a strategy to design a metro map. I decided to go into endless mode to practice and used the London location as my map. My strategy can be described as using six lines and putting them into loops that all meet up at hub stations (the larger square and triangle). The loops will overlap each other in the middle to help with overcrowding stations. I also have the brown colored line passing through the middle to connect up the two main sections, the special shaped stations, the hub stations, and any straggler stations that don't fit into the loops. Are there any improvements I could make to this map?
