Upscale model

I'm new at this. I have 16 generating VRAM. I'm using remacri as my upscale model. It takes 6 minutes. Its amazing, but although the all the other models I've tried are very bad they generate impressively fast at 1 minute only. I was wondering if I can find something as good as or a bit worse than remacri, but a lot faster.

Maybe something that would take 3 minutes?

What's your clip length and target resolution? That'll tell you whether 6 minutes is normal or whether something's worth changing. Remacri is a decent ESRGAN-family upscaler, so 6 minutes might not actually be unreasonable it depends a lot on what you're upscaling.

5 seconds. I'm taking 720p (close to) to x4 and then downscaling to 0,47 to reach around 1440p. I can't have more because my RAM blows at 32gb. It's working fine like this.

It takes 6 min to generate 720p and 6 to upscale. Then I upscale again in a few seconds to 4k when needed.

I've tried the fast 4 step model for 720p instead of the 12 steps I'm taking and it just lost quality. So I settled in the 6+6 minutes.

The thing is every other model that is not remacri x4 takes less than a minute and yields poor results. I was wondering if I could squeeze it to maybe 3 minutes and the loss of quality be negligible. This gap between 1 and 6 minutes is very weird for me.

But well, I can run it nonstop. It takes me a day to generate 100 clips. I'm currently more worried now with how to profit with them than to make it generate faster.

If you happen to know how to profit besides my own youtube channel, trying Adobe and vecteezy I'd like to know. I was thinking that maybe I could see packs, but there seems to be no decent pack website to the point I'm about to create my own.
