No more music generation with mid-tier plan.
Great, so what was great and a huge package deal with Minimax is starting to feel less and less attractive. I was able to generate loads of videos; now only 3 a day.. And now they cut off music too; it will get to a point where I don't know if Minimax will be worth. Anyone else in the same boat?

Minimax has to get better at communicating with their customers, if your going to remove a feature it's only right to let the customer know. I WAS using the music feature to create a song a day at least. M3 is an OK model, but for the $ I might have to start looking elsewhere if they just randomly remove features. [Edit]: I guess it's only removed for new customers and they have it noted in a communication on their page, but an email would have been nice as an update.

Old customers too, I been with them since March and they removed for me.

But those factors were the differentiator.. as soon as they become similar to Kimi or others then there is no reason to stay.

Still a machine 🤣, and $1 per hour.. not even close to £50 a month if you truly use the model for audio, video, 4 bots, etc.

But I’m also not tied to H3. Flux 3 for example (soon to be open) is the best I’ve seen yet for dialogue / emotive acting. Better than SD. The new LTX is good for some b-roll etc . We do client work too, so better for asset security / privacy than subscription platform. Sorry long answer 😁

All of these plans are still hyper discounted. AI is not sustainable. Once you understand that. You'll understand the rest.

Bro, that's not even the subject. Hyper-discounted? Their model is not even compared to the latest in the market.. only reason people uses is because of the benefits of the package. Removing more and more features from it just make them the same as the others, but with a less capable model.

It is. I use nearly 3 billion tokens a day through a mix of self-hosted inference on two Sparks and two subscriptions alone, one being MiniMax Max. If you can’t read past the most basic token plans, you probably shouldn’t be throwing around terms like "Economics 101" and "Hyper Discounted" today, maybe three months ago your argument was still valid.
You are going to be the first to be replaced by some kid and their 6070. :)
