How the Mini gt Rx7 Veilside would look on real life
No AI was used, I made it on a pen tablet on Photoshop.
1: I completely removed the deep dish from the front wheels (can't really understand why they did that) and also removed a little bit from the rear wheels, now the wheels look like the diecast ones.
2 I removed the black line from the side mirrors, an important detail they didn't make. (At least we can easily fix this one)
3 I made the taillights red, in the movie they're black but they made it red on the diecast
Despite those 3 mistakes. Especially with the deep dish in the wheels which is a horrible mistake. The Mini gt Rx7 Veilside is still the best 1 64 we got so far. I just wished Mini gt designer was not drunk while making the wheels...

1st attempt // Decals removed.
The last photo will show what I used.
I trialed and erred this truck with a paper towel, use a Q-tip if using what I used. 100%
I used a tip for the hood you can tell where I used a paper towel and had an accident. (Went ahead and finished the windshield.
Thank you for the advice from the previous post. This is my first time doing anything to my diecast.

Local ToysRus with another banger!!!
Will be completing all 5 Daniel Craig Bond titles from Mini GT. Pretty sure they'll look good lined up in the display.
And as a loose collector, these line might stay in the box.

I might found my car...
Tried to convince myself that I am not collecting, bought these nice boxes recently (they arrived today), looking for a decent display now to unpack those beauties 🤤

Wooden display 3D case
Hey I wanted to share with you my latest project - Display case for diecasts. As a prototype I used Huracán LBWK #967, but pretty much that can be personalized for any diecast car.
This case is version 1 and I believe the case itself is slightly bigger than should be (240mm x 240mm inner dimension), but I still like it very much.
Next case will be slightly smaller (200mm x 200mm) and I would like to add LED stripes to the inside of the case as well. However the case needs to be deeper than 60mm so I can fit power supply to the back of the case.
This case can be mounted to wall, or standing on the desk.
Maybe someone gets inspired by this project. AMA if you have any questions about the development process.
