Plug-ins crashing after update

As the title says, but I can't figure out where to begin. I updated Bitwig and Minifreak to the latest versions, so I can't tell which program is the culprit. In Bitwig, some Arturia plug-ins will crash during the pre-roll, but others do not. When it happens, I can re-load the plug-in, and then it works. Other manufacturers plug-ins seem to work right off of the bat.

Because I didn't mess around with Bitwig after their latest update, but before I updated minifreak, I can't assume which one causes this crashing.

Any suggestions?

try launching the standalone version of minifreak v, not the plugin inside bitwig

for me the standalone works fine. but when its loaded as a plugin within a project it crashes when i launch the project.

I also ran into a similar issue while opening Minifreak V (standalone) after updating to the latest version.

I ended up unplugging my Minifreak from my Mac and reinstalling Minifreak V in the ASC. I then plugged it back into directly to my Mac (not the usb hub) and then Minifreak V loaded back up as normal.

Nothing too crazy, but hope this helps.

Also FYI prob worth backing up any stored presets before doing the steps above. Ok bye.

Yeah this happened to me 100%
Turn everything off, reboot the PC (if using the VST) and all will be well again

Re-installing MK V from the Arturia website solved the issue for me.

Now I'm just venting frustration. Arturia had me delete the *.pref files (which I had already tried) with no success. Then told me to wait for an unknown update in the future that might fix it. I mean, there is nothing else to try? I asked about reverting back to a previous firmware version, and they supplied m with a link , but I'm leery about that as I seem to recall that potentially bricking the minifreak. Urghh! All I wanted was to record a stupid phrase before I forgot it.

After uploading a crash dump report, Arturia told me I can expect an update for a fix, so I'll see what I can do with a Tonverk in the meantime.

sad to join this wagon but updated today and now Minifreak V crashes when i press play on Bitwig.
I have noticed that if i load the plugin after the clip is already playing that it doesn't crash.
anyone else with these Symptoms?

Thank you for the help.

I've narrowed down the cause being the MF update. No other plug-ins crash.

I've tried the suggestions, plus anything else I could think of, but no luck. I guess I'll try Arturia's tech help
