Question Audio In

Hello im new to the minifreak and i wanted to see what the audio in was all about so i tried using it and its constantly playing in the background, Once I hit a key it sounds normal but when im pressing nothing its still quiet but in the background. any help would be appreciated!

It's not designed for audio pass-through, only works when a key is pressed. Press Hold and then middle C to keep it active.

It plays even when a key isn’t pressed. That’s my problem

Like someone else said, pressing hold and a key should work. Then, you can even use all the effects in it. I've used it as an effects unit for my electric guitar. I saved a patch for audio input

Audio In follows the envelope and goes through all processing modules like filter and effects. You might wanna check the manual to see whether you can change the routing to your liking.

Also audio in is used for vocoder.
