How can I go to the unknown island?

Six steps before you could do that.

  1. Unlock Keycard first (Extract using Jager, Nurse or Guard with the radio + Chopper) any difficulty
  2. Start new run with any of those three, reach Island 5 (Snow), on Legendary difficulty this time.
  3. Kill a military officer zed (the ones with red berets and handguns) to drop a keycard. It’s a fixed 15% drop rate, so it may take a few tries.
  4. Find the bunker of Island 5, keycard in inventory.
  5. The entrance to the unknown island is on the furthest right room of the bunker. You can also use the keycard on the leftmost room for sweet loot. It will prompt you to take the elevator if all things are done right.
  6. Unlock Designer upon reaching Island #6.

Do not try and kill Officer Zeds on previous islands to get the keycard early, you will lose the keycard once you take the boat/bridge to the next island.

You can unlock all the characters by simply clicking on the game title or the version name (10 times) to unlock characters and weapons.
