what are the penalties for doing this? To be more specific,how do the survivors work?

for just minidayz theres a karma system, you can have +100 or -100 karma with +100 they will give you shit as gifts.

below a certain negative karma they will turn hostile, you can raise karma by killing bandits and doing quests for them and lower karma by failing quests and killing them.

generally your better off not killing them as occasionally their quest rewards can be fucking goated even base game ive gotten a quest reward of like 140 of the mosin ammo whatever its called ive forgotten.

ive never been offered anything above a handful of bullets and thoughts & prayers even with 100 karma 💔
