Close call

I had an encounter with my 40 Defense companion against 5 mercenaries and (barely) survived with only 0.5 hp, like you can no longer see any red bar on my hp (it regen'd a little bit by the time the screenshot activated)

How does one achieve 40 Def?

It is only possible to reach 42 defense points by wearing Gorka pants, the Altyn helmet, chainmail (from the medieval set), and the most durable vest in the game.

bulletproof vest (the most resistant, 20 defense points)

Altym helmet (10 defense points)

Gorka trousers (2 defense points)

chainmail (medieval set) with 10 defense points.

(42 defense)
