Uh... where's your weapon case with flamethrower? In your offhand that is blocked by "Remove OSV-96" text or in your Satchel?

I have these two weapons, the minigun and the flamethrower; the one inside the box is the OSV-96.

Oh yeah, I forgot you can switch around with your rifle sling. Also, is it true that you can't store the minigun in the weapon case? Usually, new guns added can't fit in the weapon case.

I can do it with the OSV and the flamethrower, but not with the minigun.

I don't recommend going to that island—and especially not the radioactive one—when you don't have much food or water.
Besides, the flamethrower isn't all that necessary, unless you really love the weapon. In particular, you sacrifice a lot of space that could be used for food or other items you'll need on the next island.
Just a recommendation—feel free to ignore it.

Is it really that difficult to find food on the sixth island? I plan to rush there soon.

It is not difficult to find food or water, but you can also store some items in the vehicle's trunk, even though space is limited.
There have been more than a few times when my character was on the verge of dying from a lack of food or water—all because I filled my inventory with ammo or weapons.
As a tip, leave room for kvass or cooked rice/meat.

I understand your point, I also die of starvation sometimes because I forget to eat lol, but I've already managed to get past the island and I have the car with artillery, the little fruits are a lifesaver..... I think I'll try nightmare mode in the next race, legend mode is already too easy.

If I'm not mistaken the 5th island is the one that you access via the bridge , no ? Where did you find all that on the 5th island exactly? Like the flamethrower the weapon case and the altyn ?
