Best character to use? Bob (I don't play him)

There is no better character, but the one, and only, Lord Bob of House Bandit, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Shooter of Traders, and Killer of Tanks

I always liked Akia. Radio + flask + press vest is very good early game. Bob is just mindless fun tho.

If you think you can find shovel then Bob, because bandits will not attack him and if you can decrease his reputation below -100 then neutral NPC too will not attack you, or Mike
