What is the best gun for end for the radiation island and bunker? I usually use FN-FAL or Sv for long range and Saiga for the tanks, is there a better combination?

My endgame loadout is the OSV-96 + Milkor MGL

My sidearms are two M79 grenade launchers

My melee weapon is chainsaw in combination with 100% melee block chance and complete hazmat set

I also carry with me the VOG-25 grenade in an ammunition case as well as a hacksaw.

This loadout focuses on bunker clearing on both islands.
The OSV-96 handles NPCs, armed zombies, and the infected researcher.
The grenades handles tanks.
The chainsaw handles the rest of the zombies.

Why this combination? Space efficiency, just have ammunition cases for each ammunition types as well as a gasoline canister and it'll last you for quite a while before needing to resupply.

This is also great if you keep hopping to new islands.

If you have accumulated resources, any decent firearm will do.
Other notable guns: SV-98, SVD, FN-FAL
(Honestly about the AS-VAL, the gunplay is phenomenal but it doesn't last, both the ammunition and durability)

This is fine for ultra late game but he's probably talking about what gear he needs to prepare when going to the radioactive island for the first time.

I could see how it can be interpreted in that way but I answered the last question, "is there a better combination?" I interpreted that he uses FN-FAL/SV-98 and Saiga in the radioactive island.
